Our hope is that our passion for the outdoors is contagious.
We run to stay fit and have fun while doing so. There is no reason that aging needs to mean a decrease in adventure. Mike did his first Ironman at age 44 and hasn’t looked back.
As our friend Steve Baker says, it’s never about the run. It is about the community, the camaraderie and the shared experiences.
WHY WE RUN!
Mental and physical fitness are large parts of why we run ultra-marathons. It is about practicing resilience in controlled adversity so that no matter what life throws at us off the trail we are prepared.
There is a freedom that comes from running out in the back country that is hard to replicate anywhere else.
